
MaryAnne Ost, MD
Medical Director Dr. Ost has more than 24 years experience in family medicine and geriatrics. She has practiced in the Chester County area since 1985. She and nurse practitioner Sharon Jarrett moved their practice to West Grove, opening Ost Family Practice in 2001. Formerly she served as associate clinical instructor of Family Practice Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and earned their Excellence in Clinical Management award in 1999.
She is board certified in family practice and geriatrics, and holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Association and both the Pennsylvania and Chester County Medical Societies. Dr. Ost’s areas of interest include disease prevention and management, geriatrics, women’s health and pediatrics.
Sharon Jarrett, CRFNP
Nurse Practitioner
Sharon Jarrett haspracticed with Dr. Ost for 10 years. Prior to that, she cared for patients in the oncology/medical/ surgical unit at Chester County Hospital for 10 years and served as a nurse supervisor at an extended care facility.
She earned her registered nursing degree from The Chester County Hospital School of Nursing, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Immaculata College and a master’s degree in nursing/family practitioner at Wilmington College. She is a certified nurse practitioner and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Her areas of focus include disease prevention with a holistic approach, chronic disease management, depression, allergy and asthma care and women’s health issues.
Michael Graveley, M.D
Dr. Graveley offers expertise in family practice and sports medicine. He uses a combination of traditional approaches and alternative medicine to meet the unique needs of each patient.
A native of northeast Philadelphia, Dr. Gravely holds a medical degree from Temple University and completed a residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. His training also includes a fellowship in sports medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, during which he worked on the medical team for the Philadelphia Phillies, and training in medical acupuncture at the Helms Medical Institute at the UCLA School of Medicine.
Dr. Gravely is board certified in family and sports medicine and is a licensed physician acupuncturist.
Christine Poppe, CRNP
Nurse Practitioner
Christine Poppe has 20 years of experience in nursing and a broad background that includes oncology, home care, hospice and school nursing. Prior to joining Chester County Family Medicine, she served as a home care and hospice nurse for six years.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Villanova University and a master of sciencein nursing as a geriatric nurse practitioner from Neumann University. Her master’s level clinical experience includes primary care, cardiology and primary home care. She is a member of the National Conference of Gerontological Nurse Practitioners and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
